DCOIC Uniform Requirements

Year-round requirements will include Navy PT gear, Service poly/wool Khaki's and Service Dress Blues.

Mandatory:

• 2 Sets, Gold & Blue Physical Training (PT) gear (short sleeve T-shirt and shorts)
• Gold and Blue Sweat pants and hooded sweat shirt
• 2 Sets, Poly/Wool Khaki uniforms - *Women: NO over blouses or skirts are authorized. You will be required to purchase the traditional tuck-in khaki shirts & pants if you bring the wrong item!*
• Khaki Garrison covers, Poly/Wool
• Khaki belts, Poly/Wool with gold buckle
• Black leather shoes
• Black dress socks
• Service Dress Blue uniform - Service jacket, long sleeve white shirt, pants and soft shoulder boards
• Black belt, Poly with gold buckle
• Combination cover, white
• Jacket, Black, Khaki Windbreaker
• All associated collar, cover and uniform devices

Optional:

• All-Weather Coat, Blue (raincoat)

*Commercial photography services available afterhours and occasionally on weekends. They will take your photos in any uniform requested including Summer Whites and Service Dress Whites. These are optional.

NEX Uniform Shop is capable of handling large number of OTCN students however time is EXTREMELY limited (1-2 hours). You will have access to services requiring alterations and/or dry cleaning.

Students shall bring the additional items with them:

• Notebook (plain lined notebook for classroom notes)
• Ribbons (if owned)
• Good pair of running shoes
• (1) Set, Basic Navy sweatpants and “hooded” sweatshirt
• White, Plain, athletic socks (minimum 5)
• White, T-Shirts, Crew neck(minimum 5)
• White, Underwear (minimum 5)
• Black, Dress socks (minimum 5)
• (1) Pair, black/dark blue shower shoes
• Towel/wash cloth
• White Mesh laundry bag with draw string
• Combination lock ONLY
• Females: one piece conservative swimsuit (Black or Navy Blue)
• Females: sports brassiere

UNIFORM ITEMS NOT AUTHORIZED AT OTCN:

• Working Khakis (Cottons) or Certified Navy Twill (CNT) uniforms and accessories – i.e. 100% polyester
• NWU Type I and accessories
